The Push-Pull Sled: How To Use Guide

The Push-Pull Sled: How To Use Guide

The Push-Pull Sled is a versatile training tool designed to enhance strength and endurance. It comes equipped with four push bars and a sled strap, making it suitable for a variety of workouts. This guide will walk you through setting up, using, and storing the sled efficiently.

Setting Up the Sled Strap

1. Locate the sled strap and find the end with the carabiner.

2. Thread the carabiner end through the loop at the opposite end of the strap.

3. Connect the carabiner to the wraparound rail on the sled.

4. Step into the sled strap and secure it around your waist.

5. Back up to create tension in the strap, preparing for use.

Installing the Push Bars

The sled includes two types of grips for the push bars: knurled and smooth. To install:

1. Simply insert the push bar into the designated slot on the sled frame.

2. Ensure a secure fit before beginning your workout.

Loading the Sled with Weight

There are two primary ways to add weight to the sled:

Center Loading Bar

Place weight plates directly onto the center bar.

Push Bars

Load weights onto the push bars for an alternative weight distribution.

The sled also features four UHMW skis on the bottom of the feet, allowing it to glide smoothly on various surfaces, including turf, concrete, and rubber flooring.

Performing Push and Pull Workouts

Once the sled is set up with the strap and weight, you’re ready to begin pushing and pulling exercises. Adjust the grip on the push bars based on comfort and training goals, and use the sled strap for resistance-based pulling exercises.

Setting Up Storage Mode

When you’re finished with your workout, follow these steps to store the sled efficiently:

1. Remove all four push bars from the sled.

2. Place the push bars underneath the wraparound rail for compact storage.

3. Reach under the sled and locate the center pin.

4. Pull out the center pin and lower the loading bar downward.

5. Insert the center pin into the hole to the left of the center hole to secure it.

6. Lift the sled into an upright position.

7. Hang the sled strap on the sled’s foot for organized storage.Need Assistance?
