FREQUENTLY ASKED,

ALL ANSWERED.

What is The Solo Tib Bar?

A Solo Tib Bar is a single foot Tibialis Anterior training device designed to strengthen the tibialis anterior by doing tib raises + you can also perform ankle rotations, hip flexors, leg extensions, & hamstring curls!

How is The Solo Tib Bar V2 different from The Tib Bar Pro?

Unlike The Tib Bar Pro that accommodates both feet, a Solo Tib Bar is designed for one foot at a time, allowing for more controlled, unilateral training and addressing strength imbalances.

Why are there two clamps?

We set out to make The Solo Tib Bar V2 as versatile as possible and so wanted to make sure that customers with all setups were taken care of. That's why we developed the dumbbell clamp which allows you to attach a dumbbell vs a weight plate. This gives additional options when training. We also include a standard barbell collar if you want to use plates as well.

What size weight plates does the Solo Tib Bar accept?

The Solo Tib Bar has been designed for Olympic/Competition metal & rubber bumper plates that are 2" size (nearly all weight plates found in home gyms). The Solo Tib Bar is not compatible with 1" sized weight plates. If you are unsure or have questions regarding this please contact us before purchasing.

Is there a minimum or max shoe size?

The Solo Tib Bar is designed to be used with nearly all feet sizes from size 4-16. This product can be used bare foot however it was designed to be used with a

shoe on for optimal fitment.

Does The Solo Tib Bar come with weight plates?

No, however we offer a great bundle of cast iron weight plates that combined with The Solo Tib Bar will last a lifetime. Check those out HERE.

How To Assemble The Solo Tib Bar V2?

The Solo Tib Bar V2 is super easy to assemble out of the box. Simply screw the loading onto the base frame and you are all set. Check out our Getting Started Guide HERE for more information.

How To Use The Solo Tib Bar V2?

Check out our Training Collective where we go in depth on Solo Tib Bar training and exercises.

Where can I find more information about The Solo Tib Bar V2?

Check out our articles where we cover all things products, training, education, and more!

Who should use a Solo Tib Bar?

Anyone looking to improve lower leg strength, including athletes, runners, jumpers, and those recovering from injuries. It is especially beneficial for individuals prone to shin splints or knee pain.

How much weight should I start with?

Beginners should start with 5-10 lbs to focus on proper form and gradually increase weight as strength improves.

What muscles does the Tib Bar target?

The primary muscle targeted is the tibialis anterior. However, depending on the movement you can also train hip flexor, hamstrings, & more

Does The Solo Tib Bar have a weight limit while training?

We have tested and designed The Solo Tib Bar Pro to easily work with up to 100lbs. Any weight above your body's accepted tolerance is not recommended and shall be used at your own risk. For reference, the typical weight range is between 10-25 Ibs.

How does the Tib Bar help prevent injuries?

Strengthening the tibialis anterior helps absorb impact forces, reducing stress on the knees, ankles, and shins. This can help prevent common injuries like shin splints, knee pain, and Achilles tendon issues.

Can it improve ankle and knee stability?

Yes, stronger tibialis muscles contribute to better foot and ankle control, which enhances knee and ankle stability, reducing the risk of sprains and joint injuries.

Where can I find more training information?
