Yes! Our TBG Bumper Plates are made from high-density rubber, designed to withstand repeated drops during exercises like deadlifts, Olympic lifts, and power cleans.
{ open = !open; transitioning = true })" tabIndex="0"> What type of barbell should I use with these plates?
These plates fit any Olympic barbell with a standard 2-inch sleeve diameter. They are ideal for powerlifting, weightlifting, and general strength training.
{ open = !open; transitioning = true })" tabIndex="0"> Can I use these plates for outdoor training?
Yes, our bumper plates are highly durable and can handle outdoor use on appropriate surfaces (like rubber mats, grass, or turf). However, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or harsh weather can shorten their lifespan, so we recommend storing them indoors when not in use.

Yes, you’ll want to use Olympic collars to secure the plates on your barbell for safety during lifts. Collars are not included with the bundle.

{ open = !open; transitioning = true })" tabIndex="0"> What kinds of lifts can I do with these plates?
These bumper plates are versatile enough for nearly any lift: squats, deadlifts, bench press, Olympic lifts like cleans and snatches, and functional training moves like overhead carries and plate drags. Whether you’re a beginner or advanced lifter, these plates are built to handle it all.
{ open = !open; transitioning = true })" tabIndex="0"> Are bumper plates better than iron plates?
Bumper plates are ideal for dynamic lifts where you may need to drop the bar, such as Olympic lifts and deadlifts. Their rubber construction protects your floor, your barbell, and the plates themselves. Iron plates are better suited for slower, controlled lifts like bench presses and squats, where dropping is less common.
