Assembling your push-pull sled is a straightforward process that requires attention to detail to ensure a secure and properly constructed piece of equipment.
Follow these step-by-step instructions to complete the assembly efficiently.
Step 1: Install the Center Loading Bar
Begin by lifting the center loading bar to an upright position. Then, insert the center loading pin to secure it in place.
Step 2: Attach the Rectangular Spacer
Take note that larger bolts are used to lock the wraparound rail, while smaller bolts are used for all other connections. Using two small bolts with washers, connect the rectangular spacer to the end frame.
Step 3: Connect the Center Frame
1. Place the center connecting frame onto both bolts.
2. Apply a washer and a nut to secure it.
3. Repeat this process for the other side.
4. Before finalizing this step, ensure that the UHMW strips are aligned on the same side. Once confirmed, tighten all four bolts using wrenches.
Step 4: Install the Triangular Brace Plates
1. Take two triangular brace plates—place one on the top and one on the bottom of the end frame.
2. Insert a smaller bolt with a washer through the top.
3. Secure the bolt with a washer and a nut on the bottom.
4. Repeat this process on the center connector frame.
5. Perform the same steps for the opposite side.
Step 5: Attach the Wraparound Rail
1. Ensure the wraparound rail aligns with the same side as the UHMW strips.
2. Take a large bolt with a washer and insert it through the wraparound rail and the end frame.
3. Secure with a washer and nut on the opposite side.
4. Repeat this step for the other side.
5. Using wrenches, tighten all six bolts securely.
Final Step: Insert the Bars and Attach the Strap
With the sled fully assembled, insert all four bars into the sled. Lastly, attach the sled strap, ensuring everything is properly secured.
