The Nordic Back Extension Machine V3: Assembly Guide

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for assembling The Nordic Back Extension Machine V3. Before beginning, ensure you are working on a flat surface.

Step 1: Assemble the Bottom Frame

1. Take the Main Frame Chassis (Part #8) and insert the Chrome Insert Bar (Part #1).

2. Align the bolt holes and insert the bolts with washers.

3. Ensure the bolt heads face the correct direction of the main frame.

4. Add washers and nuts on the opposite side and hand-tighten only.

5. Slide End Frame #9 onto the chrome insert bar.

6. Insert bolts and washers through both holes, add washers and nuts, then hand-tighten.

7. Once aligned, fully tighten all bottom frame bolts using the provided tools.


Step 2: Install the Front Handle

 

1. Line up Leg with Handle (Part #6) with the frame.

2. Place the NBE V3 Logo Plate on the front.

3. Insert M10*75 bolts with washers.

4. Add washers and nuts, then tighten evenly to ensure proper alignment.


Step 3: Install Adjustment and Support Bars

 

1. Insert the Short Adjustment Bar (Part #10) into the center U bracket on the lower frame.

2. Secure using an M10*85 bolt, washer, and nut.

3. Install the H-Shaped Bracket (Part #11) onto the lower frame.

4. Secure with M10*85 bolt, washer, and nut.

5. Tighten securely but do not overtighten.


Step 4: Install Upper Support Bar

 

1. Insert Chromed Numbered Bar (Part #12) into the upper U channel.

2. Secure with M10*85 bolt and washer.

3. Hand-tighten the nut.

4. Align the support bars and secure them together using the front pin in the 45-degree position.

5. Tighten all three bolts while ensuring smooth movement in the support frame.


Step 5: Install Foot Plate and Loading Bar

 

1. Angle the Foot Plate (Part #13) and position it onto the frame.

2. Secure the rear using M10*25 bolts and washers.

3. Hand-tighten nuts, then fully tighten.

4. Screw in Loading Bar (Part #14) to the foot plate.

5. Insert and tighten the rear M10*45 bolt.


Step 6: Install Foam Rollers

 

1. Slide Small Ankle Roller Pads onto the roller frame.

2. Insert the Plastic Caps and secure with M10*20 bolts.

3. Tighten using the provided Allen key wrench on both sides.

4. Screw in the Twist/Pull Knob into the top receiver port.

5. Pull back, place the Large Ankle Roller Pad into the top receiver port, and secure.


Step 7: Install Knee Pad and L Brackets


1. Ensure the bolt holes face toward you.

2. Place the bracket with a welded nut on the left.

3. Place the bracket with the large twist knob on the right.

4. Hand-tighten M10*25 bolts.

5. Do not fully tighten until mounted on the frame.


Step 8: Mount Knee Pad

 

1. Raise the frame to the 45-degree position.

2. Pull the pin and place the Knee Pad into place.

3. Confirm alignment, then tighten all bolts securely.

4. Repeat on the opposite side.


Step 9: Install Hip Thrust Bar

 

1. Screw the Twist/Pull Pin into the Back Extension Frame.

2. Insert the Hip Thrust Bar and secure it.

3. Lock the Back Extension Frame into the lower frame using the side knobs.


Step 10: Install Side Handles

 

1. Ensure handles are oriented forward and downward.

2. Secure with M10*25 bolts and washers.

3. Fully tighten using the provided wrench.


Step 11: Install Back Extension Pad

 

1. Place the Back Extension Pad onto the frame.

2. Insert M10*60 bolts with washers.

3. On the left side, install the Lift Handle at the same time.

4. Hand tighten all bolts first.

5. Once aligned, tighten securely without overtightening.

 

Step 12: Install Band Pegs

 

1. Place Plastic Spacers onto each Band Peg to protect the End Frame.

2. Choose desired mounting holes based on training needs.

3. Insert Band Pegs and screw them together by hand.

 

Final Step: Vertical Storage

 

1. Store vertically when not in use
